William Henry Knives GenTac Folder
One has to wonder if the thrill of winning Blade awards will fade for William
Henry, as they seem to come away with an award every year. We have just
recently showcased one of their most recent award winners the
D10 Decade, and today we
want to show you the stunning 2006 Overall Knife of the Year 2006.
The Gentac Folder, an abbreviation for Gentleman's Tactical, is an
outstanding mix of design and craftsmanship. The blade on this knife is
what sets it apart. One of the Gentac blades offered is William Henry's
patented wave damascus, which is our personal favorite. The blade can also
be purchased in laminated ZDP-189 powder metal steel and forged Damascus by
Devin Thomas. Titanium, Mokume and Damascus handles are offered depending
whether one desires the strength and light weight of Titanium or the subtle
beauty of Mokume and Damascus.
All of the Gentac Knives feature inlaid gems in both the thumbpeg and the
locking button. Additionally the knife features a titanium clip and
screws, as well as a certificate of authenticity and a decorative wooden
presentation box.
This is a must have knife for those who hope to be a part of the first ten
years of what looks to be one of the leading designer knife companies in the
world.
