William Henry 2007 Catalina Folder
September 22, 2007
William Henry has in just ten years established itself as one of
the most respected and collectible names in the knife industry, and to our
enjoyment, a noted maker of luxury pocket knives. The Catalina Collection
of knives is a measure of reassurance that their attention to detail and artful
excellence will continue into their second decade of knifemaking.
The Catalina features a most rare handle material: fossil
mammoth tooth. The mammoth tooth scales give the handle a stunning striped
look that is accentuated by the solid ladder Damascus frames that have been hand
forged and hand finished. These handles are further adorned by
diamond inlays and a silver bale and beads that emphasize the showcase quality
of the knife.
The blade is a ZDP-189 powder metal core for exceptional
sharpness, and features the William Henry patent pending Wave Damascus that
completes the artful look of this collectible folding knife. Five
different offerings are available in the Catalina collection, each which is
available in just 100 numbered pieces for 2007. The five knives offered
