This year at IWA, the world's largest knife exhibition, Victorinox took home
the top honor. Out of 77 knives and 34 exhibitors, Victorinox walked away
with the coveted "knife of the Year 2007" award earlier this year as presented
by the leading cutlery experts in Germany.
In what was a five year concerted effort by Victorinox, the rescue knife was
designed with rescue professionals in mind in an effort to create a
extremely functional knife at an affordable price. Victorinox not only
spent that time designing the knife, but also spent a great amount of that time
