Spyderco Kopa Pocket Knife with Money Clip
September 9, 2007
Gentlemen's
folders are becoming more and more common with money clips, and the Spyderco
Kopa series pocket knives are a great way to make your money holder work for
you. Begun as a collectible series of knives in 2005, Spyderco plans on
introducing around eighteen different hand-fitted handle materials such as the
attractive Tiger Coral scaled creation pictured here.
The 2 7/16" PlainEdge blade is crafted from VG-10 steel. The locking
mechanism features a David Boye cutout provided an added measure of security.
The previously released knife handle materials are as follows:
- Apple Coral
- Black Quince
- Tiger Coral
- Gold Pearl
- Pearl and Abalone
The
Gold Pearl Model C92GPP is currently is currently being offered by Spyderco and
retails for $299.95. It is one of the more expensive in the Kopa limited
edition line of folders, but is also one of the most beautiful. The pearl
is beautifully accentuated by the polished stainless bolsters, giving this
pocket knife a show quality look. Yet the 2.5 ounce weight and 3 7/16"
overall length of this knife make this a great carry knife for those who aren't
collectors.
We look forward to seeing the next handle offering for this highly
collectible pattern.
