SOG Arcitech Knife

This knife is SOG Extraordinary Tools and Blades first Platinum line series offering for the high end collectible market, and they have started out by updated a classic look.  The traditional jigged bone handle quickly draws the eye, but within the first glance, you can tell this is not a standard production pocket knife.  The handle is accented with smooth titanium bolsters that stand out against the jigged bone.  The VG-10 steel blade is laminated with a 420J2 stainless, and is 3.5" in length.  The blade's overall length is 8".

The mechanism is the SOG special Arc-lock, which for lefties has an ambidextrous opener.  The mechanism can be quickly opened with one hand, opens quick, and has been tested for strength and toughness.

The knife comes complete with a pocket clip, and a Abalone jeweled thumb stud, which tops off the look of this classic piece.  With the Arcitech being the first in the SOG Platinum line, this knife should find a number of knife enthusiasts that want to hold the start of what will hopefully be a SOG tradition.
