Lonewolf Lobo Automatic Folder
September 12, 2007
This
is not your ordinary automatic pocket knife. It appears to be a simple
composite handled pocket knife with nothing remarkable to note. But inside
the simple handle is a high quality artistically formed blade and a special
automatic mechanism. From the simple clean lines of this folder, there is
no apparent button and no apparent mechanism that indicates that this knife is
an automatic. And on top of that cleverly designed secret is the fact that
this knife is actually a double action automatic.
The Lobo (LC22605-PLN) can function simply as a standard one handed
locking-liner knife, assuring you that a stuck mechanism will not stop you from
using your blade; and this movement is double action, allowing the blade to
safely release upon being partially opened. This blade though has an even
more clever feature. With a simple slide of the left handle scale towards
the blade, the knife automatically releases; a wonderful surprise from such an
unassuming blade.
The knife features S30V premium grade steel 3.5" blade and stainless steel
frame, liners and clip. The handle is a AAA grade G-10 composite with a
checkered pattern for added grip. The knife features a limited lifetime
warranty and retails for $259.99
