Kershaw Tactical Bullriding Cowboy Knife
September 24, 2007
This is a case where the name says it all yet is completely confusing.
Usually a western or cowboy style knife has a more traditional look. And
usually a tactical styled knife does not have western logos. And
bullriding? That is usually not associated with knives at all. So
here it is; one unique pocket knife, undoubtedly made for unique individuals-
the Rodeo Storm
Part of Kershaw's Storm series of knives, this design was developed by Ken
Onion who is a well known knife designer. The 3.5" blade is made of Sandvik
13C26 stainless steel and features a man riding a bull. The blade is
partially serrated and has a distinctive curve that flows into the 410 stainless
steel handle with black inserts. The closed length of the knife is 4 3/4"
and the weight is a robust 5.6 ounces, which is attributed to the all steel
construction.
This Kershaw Rodeo Storm pocket knife Model 1475GMST retails for $59.95 each
and comes complete with a frame lock, thumb stud, lanyard hole and pocket clip.
The look is completely unique and for the non-traditional cowboy in your life,
this may be the perfect gift.
