Gerber Hunting Knife with Gut Hook
September 14, 2007
Gerber
is known for their many knives that provide quality at reasonable price, and
this latest offering from Gerber, the "Skin, Saw and Gut" is a fine example of
Gerber ingenuity and production that is perfect for any large game hunter.
While not possessing the unique design of their
Exchange a Blade
design, this pocket knife is fully functional at an affordable price. Made
for big game hunters, the knife itself has a 3.27" stainless fine blade designed
for skinning, and a serrated blunt nose saw for deftly cutting through bones.
This hunting knife though also comes with an extra tool; to complement the
pocket knife a separate gut hook has been added to round out this offering.
The glass-filled nylon handle is designed for maximum grip and features
Gerber's trademarked Softgrip rubber inserts which add a degree of comfort on
those large game field dressing jobs.
The knife product number 1422 has a closed length of 4.25" and an overall
length of 7.52" and weighs in at a healthy 5.8 ounces. The pocket knife
comes complete with a nylon sheath and a limited lifetime warranty.
Whether you hunt deer, bear, turkey or boar, this three in one Gerber carry
knife will give you excellent service and do so at a very manageable price.
