Gerber Freeman Exchange A Blade Pocket Knife
September 14, 2007
Gerber
as a whole does not make a great amount of multi-bladed knives, but when they
do, you usually can bet it will be something a special. Well this Freeman
Exchange A Blade style pocket knife certainly does not disappoint. Most hunting
knives have a predictable styling; not so with this uniquely designed tool
complete with three essential hunting blades: a drop point, a blunt nose saw,
and a gut hook, or you a can choose a drop point, a blunt nose saw and a slender
boning blade.
Artfully
designed for everyday function, this knife is simple in operation. With a
push of a button, the blades can be removed and then locked into place. (a word
for the wise and especially those who are not: do not change blades with
your hand on the cutting edges)
The overall length of the knife is 8.07" and this heavy weight
knife weighs in at 11 ounces. The handle is made of stainless steel with
pear onlays. This Gerber pocket knife comes complete with a nylon sheath
that includes molded plastic inserts.
This knife has a clean well designed look and is a great gift
for someone who loves gadgets, who loves pocket knives and who loves to hunt.
If they are all three, which is more common than you may think, then you have a
perfect gift.
