Case Ducks Unlimited Knife
September 13, 2007
Duck Season in many parts of the country is approaching so we thought we
would be remiss if we did not say a little something about a knife that most any
duck hunter would love as a gift; the W.R. Case Ducks Unlimited Bird
Hunter knife.
The Bird Hunter knife is part of a larger family of licensed knives by Case
that feature the DU logo. With every one of these pocket knives purchased,
a portion of the money is donated by W.R Case to the Ducks Unlimited cause.
Ducks Unlimited is committed to conserving
and protecting wetlands now and for future generations. For over six
decades DU has steadily worked toward conservation efforts, until they are now
the leading waterfowl and conservation organization in North America.
Of all of the DU knives offered, the Bird Hunter knife by Case (7247H SS)
seems the most logical choice for true goose, quail, dove, and duck hunters.
It comes with a clip blade and bird hook and is 3 7/8" closed and weighs 2.1
ounces making it a light carry knife. The Ducks unlimited logo is inset
into the handle and the Case name is stamped into the tang. This is a
really attractive knife and will find use in the hands of the hunter in your
life.
Case offers a whole family of Ducks Unlimited knives from which to choose,
such as the ever popular trapper, mini trapper, canoe, muskrat and peanut, and
Russlock to name a few. These knives are offered in a few knife handles
including peach seed jigged bone.
