Boker Damascus Knife for 2007
Each year Boker brings out a special limited edition Damascus bladed knife
and this years knife has a rugged tactical look.. This years knife has a
striking 300 layered Damast in a pattern called three roses due to the three
swirling metallic features in the blade. The blade is labeled with Boker
Damast 2007 (Damascus is called Damast in Germany) on one side and has an
overall blade length of 3". Manfred Sachse has been Boker's damascus
forger for over two decades handforging these 300 layer works of art. The
overall knife length is 6.8" and with a titanium handle this knife is a mere 3.3
oz, which makes this knife a perfect carry model.
This knife is limited to 999 pieces and comes complete with a wooden gift box
and a certificate of authenticity. This knife is undoubtedly a collector
piece as Boker produces a limited edition Damast blade each year, but this knife
has such a good masculine look about it and is such a great carry knife.
At $650 this knife will no doubt be found in quite a few pockets, and make a
great gift.
This knife shares a similar blade styling with the
Boker Eurofighter- another
striking knife with a striking name. The Eurofighter has a similar
Damascus pattern, but is made of a Mauser BK 27 original cannon and retails for
$760.
