Benchmade Griptilian Pink Pocket Knife
September 23, 2007
In this politically correct world, I am sure there are some out there that
would not automatically assume that this is a ladies pocket knife. Well I
do not fall in that PC minority. This Pink folder is decidedly designed
with women in mind (unless their is a sports team I am not considering that is
predominately pink- feel free to email me if that exists)
This Benchmade Pardue designed Blue Class knife is new for 2007 and comes in
a Model 555HG-PNK with a sheepsfoot blade and a 556-PNK with a modified drop
point blade. The knife blade is available in both a ComboEdge and Plain
Edge as well as a blade with or without the thumb hole opener. The
handle is made of pink glass filled Valox with a textured grip. The
knife comes complete with a lanyard hole, reversible pocket clip and a round
hole for ease of opening whether you are a righty or a lefty. The overall
length is 6.78"and the closed length is 3.87" making it a great everyday carry
and a perfect size for a purse (or your man purse).
The Griptilian moniker is accurate due to the well textured handle and a
large finger guard has been designed into the handle for added assurance.
If you are looking for a present for a woman who loves knives, but doesn't
mind to show her feminine side, then this well built blade is a good pick.
Or if you are just wanting a knife for security to defend yourself like the
pregnant lady who
defended herself with a pocket knife from three illegal aliens, this knife
is solid choice. And with a price of $90.00 retail, this knife is also an
affordable choice.
